· These Referral Program & Disclosure Rules apply to ALLIES members who refer, invite, promote, post about, share, recommend, or otherwise discuss ALLIES in connection with any possible referral reward, incentive, points benefit, ranking benefit, or other compensation.
· By participating in the ALLIES referral program or promotional activity, you agree to these rules, the ALLIES Terms & Conditions, and any referral-specific instructions provided by ALLIES.
1. Voluntary Referral Program
· Participation in the ALLIES referral program is completely voluntary.
· Members are not required to refer anyone, promote ALLIES, post about ALLIES, share ALLIES content, or participate in referral activities.
· Membership does not guarantee that a member will earn referral rewards, receive compensation, gain status, or achieve any financial result.
2. Referral Rewards
· ALLIES may offer referral rewards to eligible members who refer new applicants who apply, are accepted for membership, and complete any required payment or onboarding steps.
· Referral reward amounts, eligibility requirements, payment timing, limits, and conditions may vary and will be disclosed by ALLIES through the applicable referral announcement, reward schedule, points update, or official member communication.
· Referral rewards are not guaranteed. A referral must satisfy all applicable requirements before any reward is issued.
3. No Employment, Contractor, or Agency Relationship
· Participating in the referral program does not make a member an employee, contractor, agent, partner, franchisee, representative, spokesperson, or affiliate of ALLIES.
· Members do not have authority to act on behalf of ALLIES, bind ALLIES, make promises for ALLIES, or represent themselves as employed by or officially representing ALLIES.
· Members participate at their own discretion and are solely responsible for the content they create, post, send, or share.
4. Required Disclosure of Referral Compensation
· If you post about, promote, recommend, share, or endorse ALLIES and you may receive any referral reward, compensation, benefit, or other incentive, you must clearly disclose that connection.
· The disclosure must be clear, easy to notice, and close to the recommendation or promotional statement.
· The FTC’s Endorsement Guides require disclosure of material connections when the connection is not reasonably expected by the audience, including compensation or other incentives.
5. Acceptable Disclosure Examples
· Acceptable disclosure examples may include:
· I may receive a referral reward if you join ALLIES.
· I’m an ALLIES member and may receive a reward if you apply through my referral.
· Referral disclosure: I may receive compensation if someone I refer is accepted into ALLIES.
· I may earn ALLIES rewards for referrals.
· The disclosure should be written in plain language. It should not be hidden, vague, buried in a profile bio, placed only at the bottom of a long post, or made difficult to understand.
6. Social Media Disclosure
· For social media posts, stories, reels, videos, comments, direct messages, emails, texts, or other promotional content, the disclosure must appear where people will actually see it.
· For short-form content, the disclosure should appear in the post, caption, video, image, or message itself.
· Hashtags alone may not be enough if they are unclear or buried. Clear wording such as “I may receive a referral reward” is preferred.
7. Honest Statements Only
· Members must be honest when discussing ALLIES.
· Members may only share truthful personal opinions and accurate information. An endorsement must reflect the honest opinion, belief, or experience of the person making it, and the FTC states that an endorsement cannot be used to make a claim the marketer could not legally make.
· Members may not make false, misleading, exaggerated, deceptive, or unverified claims about ALLIES.
8. No Income Claims
Members may not claim, suggest, imply, or guarantee that someone will make money, earn rewards, receive income, gain financial benefit, obtain opportunities, improve their career, form valuable connections, find romance, or achieve any specific result by joining ALLIES.
Members may not make income claims such as:
Members may truthfully state that eligible members may receive referral rewards if all applicable requirements are met, as long as they clearly disclose their material connection.
9. No Misleading Membership Claims
· Members may not misrepresent ALLIES membership, benefits, pricing, rewards, exclusivity, acceptance chances, events, member demographics, opportunities, or expected outcomes.
· Members may not suggest that membership guarantees friendships, professional connections, romantic opportunities, social invitations, prizes, rewards, status, influence, or personal transformation.
· Suggested compliant language:
· ALLIES is a private members community designed for connection, engagement, and member participation. Membership does not guarantee connections, rewards, opportunities, or outcomes.
10. No Pressure or Spam
· Members may not use aggressive, deceptive, harassing, or spam-like tactics to promote ALLIES.
· Members may not send unwanted mass messages, make misleading urgency claims, impersonate ALLIES, create fake accounts, pressure people to apply, or suggest that someone must join to maintain a friendship, relationship, business relationship, or social standing.
11. Use of ALLIES Name, Logo, and Materials
· Members may share official ALLIES content made available for referral or promotional purposes, as long as they do not alter it in a misleading way.
· Members may not create content that suggests they own, operate, officially represent, or speak on behalf of ALLIES unless ALLIES has given written permission.
· ALLIES may require members to remove or edit content that violates these rules or misrepresents ALLIES.
12. Payment of Referral Rewards
· Referral rewards, if any, may be paid by Zelle, check, credit, gift card, or another method determined by ALLIES.
· Referral rewards may be issued only after all required conditions are satisfied, which may include the referred person applying, being accepted, paying any required initial fee, completing onboarding, remaining in good standing, or satisfying other disclosed requirements.
· ALLIES may delay, deny, reverse, or withhold referral rewards if the referral is invalid, incomplete, fraudulent, disputed, refunded, cancelled, or otherwise inconsistent with the referral rules.
13. Taxes
· Referral rewards and other payments received from ALLIES may be taxable.
· Members are solely responsible for reporting and paying any federal, state, local, or other taxes associated with referral rewards or other payments they receive.
· ALLIES does not provide tax advice. Members should consult their own tax advisor regarding their personal tax obligations.
· ALLIES may request tax information and issue applicable tax forms when required by law.

If a member violates these Referral Program & Disclosure Rules, ALLIES may take appropriate action, including but not limited to:
15. Changes to the Referral Program
· ALLIES may modify, suspend, or discontinue the referral program, referral rewards, eligibility requirements, payment amounts, ranking-related benefits, or disclosure requirements at any time.
· When practical, ALLIES will notify members of material changes through the website, group chat, member communications, referral announcements, or other reasonable methods.
